I agree about the lower horn, but you don't really notice it when it's on its side at least. The blue quilted finish was the best one, but I also really like the black Moi dix Mois guitar that he never uses anymore, unfortunately. All of them look cool in their own right (I even like the "Bronze" finish, except that it doesn't really match any of his outfits), but the Transparent Blue and the Solid Black are the best ones IMO.

I don't think the neck pickup would really sound different, would it? I mean, they're both humbuckers. I think they'll both deliver about the same, big, loud, distorted sound.

And didn't Közi recently get a new model guitar from ESP?? Why would he be gone now? That's sad. Maybe he's fallen so much that they don't think he's bringing in enough exposure.

i always regret not getting the edwards akauzu Crying or Very sad
oh well, it had lame dot inlays anyway if i remember right. should have left it blank
I prefer the black inlay one over the cheaper model with the plain red neck. See photo below, the one on the right.

it really would, especially since i'd replace them with passives anyway

^ that just confirmed it. I was hoping that it was just a glitch.
With my very ltd Chinese it said "end of production" and they are not even selling them at ESP anymore. ::weepy::

Sorry to dig up an old thread. Does anyone have these scans in readable quality? Or know what magazine it is from? Want to translate it!

Mine appear to be SLIGHTLY better, but not much. I'll post them here, in case they prove useful.

The magazine they are from is:

BANDやろうぜ![BAND-Yarōze!] (Volume 10, October 1997)

Cross-posting this since the thread is back: Kozi's interview about his studio gear circa 2006, from issue 4 of his solo FC magazine.

I'm betting a fair amount of that he had from the Malice Mizer days.

Thank you for the scans! I can def translate the kozi interview soon. Have read that one before, some of the stuff in there he def could have used like the Akai sampler and he states the Alesis DM5 was used because kami. I will try and hunt down the source magazine!

Small translation note on the mana part:
To sum up the jc 120 selection, he does not really like amp sounds but likes chorus alot. He says he is actually using two choruses, the jc 2nd channel and a boss (guessing ce-1? So since the jc chorus is the ce-1 circuit he is chorusing the chorus. . With the same chorus? (꒪⌓꒪) haha) gotta try that out tomorrow.

So Közi legitimately played the harp? (I'm at least assuming it's Közi, I've only ever seen him playing one in Bel Air) A translation would be lovely to read (because my swamped, yankee-butt can't make time to relearn Japanese)!
He still has his harp. It was in the photos of his home "museum" recently.
