So the live schedule was updated and... Tokyo live starts at 12:00! This feels so wrong.

It's all Mana's fault for announcing that additional Malice Mizer show on the same day :/

Hell yeah... This is the reason for sure xD God, I want to go (I am considering to go to the MM but as I already go on the Septembre 8 ... :-/).

Pre-orders are up on Hora's website for both Resonate and Immortal Verses. No tracklists, ugh. Kaya's promo twitter showed off the new looks. I really hate that album cover though... that watermark colour font really ruins it. Personally, the new SS has been mostly disappointing... unpopular opinion (?) but Hora needs to flog some sneakers and buy some new synths.

Hora's looks are always so flippin' lazy

Not even that, I think he just needs to try a little harder with the ones he has.

I think most of the new songs are not as good as the old material, BUT I still like it. Sleeping Madness and Apocalypse however are awesome and two of their best songs (IMO). I'm acctually happily suprised they still deliver good material, considering the Velvet Eden flop :P Really looking forward to the new Hora album.

Did anyone else notice they didn't mention the signed cheki anymore as bonus?...

EDIT: about the cover, I totally agree. The font is a bad choice. Kaya's pose though, makes me think about New Vogue Children :3

Sleeping Madness was great, Ark wasn't bad either... My main critique is that Hora's compositions are repeating themselves and just don't bring anything new to the table.

I noticed that! They're offering a comment cd for international fans and I'm like... no thanks lol.

Honestly though? I haven't found a lot to like from either post-reform BH/SS/VE for various reasons (poor production & kiwamu* got involved / missing the mark / dada is an arsehole), but I'll see how the mini-album goes. I've always had a soft-spot for kaya and i'd rather give The Gays© money anyway.

*off-topic, but what happened to him anyway?

I didn't, damn! And I already paid for my pre-order XD
Still want that comment CD though. The last one was hilarious!
Hora could also throw in a bonus with his solo CD.

Yep, I totally disagree :lol:Some of my favorite SS songs are the new songs (Lilith, Sleeping Madness, Apocalypse, Hakobune). Maybe it's because I myself am a relatively "new" fan (I didn't even know about them before their come-back).

That watermark font is hideous though. Just why oh why. It's a bit sad because the cover photo itself is awesome.

I decided not to pre order Hora's because if you order more than 1 they tend to be cracked :P This has been one of the first in a long while not to come with a bonus...

I was thinking of ordering mine with a cheki. Its kind of nice to have something one-of-a-kind (and it's only 1000¥ extra).

Also I'm curious; anyone have any idea what Immortal Verses is a reference to? Because it can't be this

Edit: it's 5 tracks, same as ROH, according to their website and Google Translate.

Yes, I've gotten a cracked one too and I ordered it within Tokyo. The odd thing is, it was so neatly packed that I don't understand how it could have broken.
So Hora's albums usually do have a bonus? Just my luck. First time to pre-order and no bonus. Argh.

The link doesn't open?

Yep, it should be a "new look" and Hora has thrown a piece of fabric on top of his usual black outfit. I'm wondering if it's a special brand of "Hora cool" or just lack of motivation.

Fixed it! Basically it was a poetry scam and the anthologies were called Immortal Verses, I'll quote a bit from the page for those who don't wanna click the link:

" Poetry.com is a fraud publishing organization that features it's online writing contest. It literally accepts 100% of applicants as 'Semi-finalists' in their 'international poetry competition' and sends a letter to the poor victims. The letter is full of flattery saying that you are a wonderful poet and the 'sectional committee' or 'panel of judges' has decided your poetry is good enough to be published. They ask a 'modest' payment of $50 plus extra if you want your page on a page of it's own. Publishing only those who paid, 6000 poems per book at $50-$75 a poem with 60 books published a year is a lot of $$$$.

Flattered writers are quick to give them money and order a few copies of the book they were featured in. After some time a message saying their poetry was good enough to be read on a cd then asking you to go to some expensive winning writers convention and getting a silver cup comes in. It's all to leach more money from the ones that haven't found out they've been scammed. They were even featured on ABC's 20/20. You can read about that in this link HERE from windpub.com (see moreinfo page). They have been scamming people since 1996 and continue to do so! It's disgusting because the state they're in LETS the continue to operate, despite all the complaints. If you need more evidence just search "poetry.com Scam" on google search.

--Misconceptions--
Poetry.com does NOT publish your work if you do not pay for the book.
Poetry.com publishes 50+ books a year and does NOT sell them anywhere other than to the victims of their scam.

As far as I know the first time he offered it was with TYRANT, then with COCYTUS and DESOLATION BEAUTY. So not that many.
Hehe, I've been suspecting the damage might be from the supplier to Hora.

Maybe if the pre-sale does not go so well, he'll throw in a bonus ::hora::

What an unfortunate coincidence! XD My first thought was that maybe he'll turn his "Immortal" into a SS song. But I guess that will never happen because it has been done before, with Velvet Eden :P

Kaya posted a tracklist on one of his blogs. they've popped up in some live appearance set lists on his twitter too:

1. morgue
2. Immortal Light
3. Forest of Paralysis
4. Lotus
5. Wachtraum

looks like we're getting all new songs! I've ordered a copy but it'll probably l*ak by the time it arrives. Anyone else heard it yet?

I went to both Osaka and Nagoya live and bought my copy from the live venue. I was hoping someone else from this forum went too and already wrote something about the new mini album and the lives, because I really don't know how to write a music review/a live report :P But I may try to recall and translate some of the talk between Kaya and Hora. Coming soon: How many sneakers does Hora have? What does Hora look like without make-up? Who made Kaya's new costume? What kind of underwear does Kaya wear?

The only thing I can say about the new songs is that... I like them! And there's two songs with Hora's death-voice! ::hora:: Even though... I hope it doesn't disappoint you, but "Lotus" is really the SS version of Hora's "Babel". It seems a bit lazy, but then again, it's an awesome song live.

Fundoshi.

I'm calling it right now, there's no way Hora admitted to the full extent of his sneaker hoarding ::meev::

Twink Kaya definitely wears a jockstrap. Did you see him with the Andrew Christian guys at Drag Con? ::meev::

There's always a rose jail/addict/SODOMY song of some kind ::kaya::
