Journey OST - I was born for this
I went to a video game concert last night and they played this. This song really captured me, my friend says the game's really good too though.

Hmmm...it seems Madamoiselle Silk and I have different definitions of songs we were born for.
Here is my current one.

Can anyone recommend a good recorded collection of Bach? I have been searching for one now for some time with mixed results. I found one in the rental store, but it sounded like all the pieces were being played by a computer, the other recording sounded like a poor vinyl transfer full of hissing.

Are you looking for vinyl or cd? A lot of classical music was recorded for vinyl. Perhaps if you try looking for something recorded a bit more current you may find something decent that was not first on vinyl. While live classical recordings are still popular, not sure if recording full collections is. You might try first browsing on YouTube. I've found a few good artists and recordings of music that way.

Johann Sebastian Bach, The Art of the Fugue, Davitt Moroney, Harmonia Mundi is a recommended top recording for this year from online sources. A couple others (not necessarily collections) are Bach Magnificat Monteverdi Choir; English Baroque Soloists / Sir John Eliot Gardiner, BACH: ‘Goldberg’ Variations Beatrice Rana, piano, and BACH: Cantatas Nos. 152, 199, 202 Carolyn Sampson, soprano; Freiburg Baroque Orchestra.

That was fun seeing what was considered good for 2017. Gave me some things to check out too!

It wasn't "Switched-On Bach", was it? ::meev::
I don't have many Bach recordings other than one of Glenn Gould playing the "Well-Tempered Clavier", which is fine even if it's not on a clavier.

Anything by Coheed and Cambria, they have some serious, orchestral metal songs like ‘Welcome Home’, to upbeat, odder songs like ‘A Favour House Atlantic’.

Some songs I recommend:
Also Claudio’s hair is super cool ::k::

Completely addicted to this track, the current and probably last outro of Dragon Ball Super.
Good job, marketing teams.

Dragon Ball Super.
I still haven't watched any of it because as far as I know they haven't released much past what was covered in the movies. I guess they're keeping it TV-exclusive or something.

The two movies basically cover the first two arcs/sagas. Third saga is probably the best saga yet, story-wise. It features Future Trunks again but has some very nice plot-twists and a satisfying ending. The current saga, an inter-universal tournament, is insanely awesome too. Small story, but near infinite action with a laaaaaaaarge cast and some really great new characters. They're passing the 130 episodes mark soon :P

Yeah, what's been released of the manga cuts off right when he shows up, so that's as far as I've seen. The DVD releases seem to be even further behind.

Ghost unveiled their new song, album and singer yesterday.

I can't stop listening to it.

Current mood: Some Math Rokku and a Sugizo classic with some Kiyoharu flavour!
