I'm a college freshman. Going to school 2 days a week instead of 5 is awesome.

So this started again and I bring this back from the grave.

I'm in the first year of college, actually my second semester. Luv it by now.

I graduated from high school 2 weeks ago.... So, I will be reading in the university this autumn. Hopefully Japanese, otherwise Japanese art history. (I've been going to an art high school)

Thanks, but I'm sort of depressed because of it.... I have no idea what I want to do with my life and that sucks... I would love to become an artist but I don't think my talent is good enough. (I love to draw)

Anyone can be an artist!
Seriously, you should pursue that! :)

And don't worry too much about figuring out what exactly you're gonna do with your life. You'll figure it out eventually, and you have plenty of time. ;)
You can still live your life and enjoy it without knowing exactly where it's going. :)

Yeah honestly, I had a good friend that couldn't even draw but he knew that he was a creative type, so he changed his major to art on a whim and by the end of the first year he had learned how to draw quite well and he found that he was particularly good at ceramics.

Of course, the only thing he has been able to do with that art degree is teach - and he hates kids - but still.

I'm in the 2nd year of university. I'm studying Systems and Programming engineering. Kinda hard sometimes, but so much fun! ::squee::

It makes me so happy to see so many people in college/university. (: (for you UK people: college and university are virtually the same thing in the states. ;) Or, university is a form of college, rather.)

As for me, I dropped out in the middle of my Senior year and am waiting to get my diploma through a high school completion program at a community college nearby.

Right now I'm doing a business course at TAFE. I wanted to do a music one, but all the music courses are in the city and are full time attendance, so I went with something that I'm not that interested in, but it doesn't really interfere with work, it's very easy and gives me qualifications.

I don't think I ever answered this poll because I don't feel like I entirely fit any of the categories.

My own category would be: "went to college for almost 3 years but dropped out because I had to work full time so I could pay my bills since my Dad wouldn't help me and also I stopped caring about my major (psychology) - but I plan on finishing my Bachelor's at some point (probably in biology). Oh, and I took a paralegal course so I could at least get a decent job without a degree."

Stuck in a design university for a while, I guess. Ah, but stuck in a positive sense! Though it's a bit difficult :P

And after my barchelor/master studies I want to go and study art. Perfect plan, I wonder if I'll ever make any money.
