Well, you can see that whatever I got couldn't be a .ogg or anything like that since it's only 20KB or so for a whole song. And different songs are different sizes, so I don't think it's likely that the whole file is itself a key into some other data structure. It must be something that translates into a MIDI or the equivalent, but I don't see any way of figuring it out with the information I have.

PS: you must have been really good if they let you win with a Gackt song ::gaku::

Yes, you're right. The file size is very small even for an hypothetical Garnet MIDI...
(A song of that kind usually take from 60 to 100 kb)
Anyway, I found Gackt and only two Malice Mizer MIDI files that contains Japanese lyrics in Kanji/Hiragana.
These files are marked as Xing.Inc, the Company that collaborate with JOYSOUND.
Maybe someone was able to grab them from the karaoke app streaming, when they used the MIDI format... now they're using .ogg

Here I upload these two Malice Mizer's MIDI I found, maybe examining these files you will discover other informations

PS: Yes I won with a Gackt song but I'm not really professional like him.
Anyway the machine vote my voice with a 93%, one of the judge (the half Japanese blooded one) said that this happens when the singer has a really similar tone of voice with the original artist. I have to exercise more. If only I had the money, I will spend €6000 for a LIVE DAM STADIUM for sure!
