My boss has a pencil sharpener shaped like a dog. The pencil sharpens on the butt end. One of his friends likes doing dumb stuff to his desk to annoy him slightly, but ran out of ideas today. So someone else in the office helped by taking the dog, setting it up on his desk face down, butt up, and sticking dead flowers in it to make a doggy butt boquet.

Said boss decided I did it because, "I'm twisted like that"...

Like what, exactly? lol

Happy 241st birthday to the USA.
I don't live there anymore, but I hear it's great again.

SEMPER FI to all my fellow American SUPERPATRIOTS on this Independence Day!
I couldn't have put it better myself! Just got back here from a rousing round of fireworks and flag saluting ::foot::

I saw the fireworks at the Champ de Mars this year.
Usually we watch it from my friend's appartment/roof, but this time someone was crazy enough to arrive at 16h to claim a place.

They made the Tour Eiffel rainbow sparkle for a bit and opened with the Star Wars theme. Yay!
Alcohol was forbidden...except if it was in a plastic bottle or a juice box.
Everyone knew what it was but since it wasn't in a glass bottle, it was ok. France...

I'm gonna see the Sumidagawa fireworks wit some friends next Sunday! Really excited, first time I'm in Japan during summer ^^

I saw that Chester, vocalist of Linkin Park has died, can people just stop dying for a moment. In the past 3 years so many well known people has passed away it's getting kind of creepy... Also, I've been listening to Linkin Park for a long time, and I never got to see them live =/

This almost sounds like it'd be worth having to be in Japan in the summer XD

Not that I'm one to talk, since I have this tendency to end up traveling into TROPICAL HELLS every summer :| In fact next week I'm headed out to the deserts of New Mexico because I am apparently completely insane XD

I've avoided Japan during summer for long, because I'm no good with heat :P To be honest, it's like hell, basically between 30-34 degrees everyday and it's way above what I'm used to. In Sweden it's BAD if it's warm enough to make the sweat run down your back, that is everyday here :P There's no place the sweat isn't running :P I need to wipe myself up everyday when I reach the station XD And I almost passed out earlier this week outside of Shinjuku station, I had to sit outside for about 1 hour until I felt strong enough to walk around again. So yeah, I wouldn't go through this anywhere else than Japan.
I'm really looking forward to the fireworks! It's acctually a bunch of older women I've got to know X) They're really sweet and I hang out with them sometimes (I've been invited to have tea and sing old Japanese songs a couple of times XD) and they live kind of close to the skytree so they usually watch the fireworks from the top of their building (They all live in the same mansion). One of the women insisted on dressing me up in one of her daughters old yukata's XD It will be lots of fun.

Yes, and the frizzy hair! UGH THE FRIZZY HAIR.
I didn't catch a lugia in the pogo event and now I'm disgusted so I guess I'll just read books from now on or something.

Also, I had a thought. In terms of appearance, it would make a lot more sense age-wise if Brigitte were married to Trump and Malaria to Macron.
But not brain-wise. I think I like Brigitte.

Does this mean you're finally ready to start Genji? :|

So I'm posting this from the sky, there seems to be free wireless internet on this plane ::zoom:: I'm off to New Mexico, just in time for some bizarre and unseasonable rainstorms. Should be interesting :|

Well, you'll all be completely indifferent to know that I finally caught a Lugia today :)

After the PoGo raid, I was walking back to my flat with a fellow player when this drunk lady comes up to us and starts rambling.
It went something like this:

To me:
"You're so beautiful. Your outfit is lovely and you have a figure to die for.
But your hairstyle isn't that great. Your purse doesn't work either."
*turns to other player*
"And you, you're...uh..."
*turns back to me*
"But really you're SO BEAUTIFUL."

Then she started talking about Antarctica, bolar bears, and the fire in Portugal. And crying.
Then she asked for money.

After she left, I cracked up. Fellow player isn't bad looking. He has a pretty good style too.
I dunno if it was premeditated to beg for money, or if the idea just came into her head as an afterthought.
But it was absolutely hillarious so I gave her a euro.
Next time I see him, I'll offer to lend him a couple outfits so he can be pretty too (we're about the same size).

Ah, you play too? Which color?

Don't worry if you don't have it yet.
I caught it on my 7th raid.
It was so bad that people started hiding the fact that they caught them, just so I wouldn't be sad lol

The Articuno catch rate was 50% for me.
But Lugia is a ridiculous bastard (even though a lot of people had a 50% catch rate for him too).
The dumb part is that you can have 11 curvballs with excellent to great throws and he still escapes.
So it's really just dumb luck if you catch one or not.
