Okay, so something I used to see a lot on Malice Mizer/Klaha fansites was the claim that Klaha is classically trained or a 'classically-trained opera singer'. Thing is, beyond these claims I've never seen anything personally in interviews and such that would indicate that. Perhaps I've missed something, though? Anybody know anything about this?
I don't remember seeing any interviews where he talked about it specifically, but I'd be surprised if he hasn't had voice lessons. I think he comes across as being more operatic because he normally sings in a lower baritone and doesn't really sing in the higher vocal range of more conventional VK singers, but sometimes his vibrato is a little out of control. I like his lower, fuller tone though, and I'd like to see him do experimental dark/new wave music like Pride of Mind again.
