OK people, listen up! The polls forum is too anarchic, and so we needs to set a few ground rules.
1. DO NOT REPLY TO EVERY SINGLE POLL. If you are a new member, just vote on a few of the currently active polls.
2. No 2-option polls unless there is a VERY GOOD reason, i.e. it is a very interesting or relevant topic that just happens to have a yes/no answer.
3. Do not reply to old polls. I have made an exception for the age, location, sex, and education threads, which I have made sticky, since these help us learn a bit about the community here in general. Outside of those, just don't reply if it's over a month old or so.
4. DO NOT REPLY TO EVERY SINGLE POLL. (see #1)
The moderators will not be doing a patrol to close existing bad polls, but new ones or ones that are dug up from the ancient past are likely to be shut down.
That's all. Now have fun
