Don't mean to sound harsh, but if you were around often, you'd see that, like I said, lots of worth while discussion happens in the off-topic thread. Right now, you're just making assumptions and come off as all kinds of snobby.

I am around quite often, I just don't see much that catches my interest apart from the artist forums. *shrugs*
